Hampi

Some relaxation after bouldering on the other side of the river

Exploring. A well we walked into while searching for cave paintings in Anegudi
There were markings at a certain level along the wall.
On one side of the wall approximately where we're standing there was a circle, presumably the full moon. On the other side a half moon and a fish next to it.

Secret swimming spot on the other side of the lake

Travel
Traveling never ends up being about the place.
It's usually about the food and more than that, the people.
Sometimes the ones you go with; sometimes the ones you meet there.

The whole room saw what their minds told them was correct.
I was the only one who saw differently. Saw what was actually there.
The setting was almost exactly the same. Just the People were different. And they spoke with American accents. Glaring differences one might say from our Indian skin and accents.
Still, everybody insisted I was wrong.
Even though I wasn't.
I might as well have been wrong.
And I was, until somebody who also had basic observation skills realized what the debate was about and backed my observation.
I hadn't wasted too much time arguing, determining as it clearly was, a waste of time.
Observation 1: People are idiots
Observation 2: Even right is wrong with no supporting witness
Observation 3: Don't waste time on useless arguments

You crave for something wholeheartedly for a very long time -- with tears swelling your eyes and beg life to grant you that wish. Life grants it -- when it no longer matters, when your heart has already refused to feel anything anymore.

This guy I know asked me a question.
He said, if you had to go to a deserted island and you could take just one thing with you, what would you take?
So I thought for a moment and said, people.
He promptly informed me that I couldn't take people along.
I couldn't help noticing that he'd missed the whole point of his own exercise.
