the unexpected

all set in anticipation for a day of utter boredom,if my last weekly off was to be any sort of indicator as to what this week's off would be like.i decided i'd stay at home and do the usual mundane stay at home things.and thats when the unexpected happened.:D.katherine 'unexpectedly' called and we met for coffee.it would have been tea or anything else for that matter, but miss 'i don't like the sound of that place' said she didn't like the sound of any place which wasn't casa picola.so casa picola had the pleasure of our company for a couple of hours.of course,we had fun.the second unexpected thing was that satish called.as expected he was being cranky about something or the other..and of course also as expected he refused to admit that he was being anything of the sort.anyway,he called so we could meet up.and we did.we went to watch spidey2.hehe 'go get em spider'. and once again,contrary to my expectations, uncle cranky puss was really nice and fun to be with.the third and final unexpectation (a minor one if anything)was one of the girls in the group that went to watch the movie.i had no idea who she was.rather pretty.the tic toc type.i rather thought she'd be the nose in the air type(from the look of her shoes)..but she wasn't.unexpected as it was she seemed rather sweet :).so as the story goes.as we were leaving it suddenly came to my attention that she was a little upset about something..something ot the effect of 'her boyfriend was going to watch his ex-girlfriend's movie' whatever that meant.i later asked satish ..what?..and he explained that the girl was an up and coming name in kannada movies..so was her boyfriend..and lol so was her boyfriend's hehe EX..hmm EX seems to be featuring a lot in this excerpt of my day.yeah so,as satish aptly put it, one big, not so happy family.. did some other stuff...nothing out of the ordinary...and now ..to bed
